You know who did the teen hero thing right? Kim Possible, that’s who. She never messed around with that secret identity thing or with not letting her parents or friends know what she was doing so she never had to deal with, “Oh, I’m gonna miss this important family event to save the world”  or, “What’ll happen in my friends find out my secret identity?” bullcrap. It was like, “Mom, Dad. I gotta go deal with this Drakken sitch,” and they’d just be like, “Have fun. Tell Ron we said hi.” She had that hero/personal life balance thing on lock. I aspire to have my life as in balance as Kim Possible.

I either finish a book and have the next one propped over and ready to go or I wait 27 years and two wars before I start the next one. There is no in between.

That is a 100% accurate description of my reading methods

Of course we need to care about homeless trans youth, we need to care about trans women being murdered, about twoc being misplaced and put in constant danger, but we are allowed to celebrate a step forward in the process of breaking down oppressive structures, and we cannot ignore the material benefits of marriage and act like it’s Just about catering to the cis white moderate, this is important too

What I couldn’t say in public is a series of images exploring anonymous confessions and secrets from all ages of people. The confessions and secrets are posted and left in public places for people to view.   Jon Faulconer | 2015
